About the Role

As a Clinical Technologist, you'll be a critical member of the team, supporting patient flow and engaging in various clinical support tasks. After completing your initial training (4–6 weeks), you'll perform all job responsibilities independently with confidence. This entry-level role is ideal for MAs and PCTs looking to expand their skills and take on new challenges in a fast-paced clinic environment. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care Support:

  • Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation
  • Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow

Procedure Support:

  • Prepare exam rooms
  • Support sterile and non-sterile procedures
  • Assist in surgical procedures
  • Follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness

Documentation & Inventory:

  • Document patient information
  • Complete consent forms
  • Manage inventory
  • Keep exam rooms stocked

Compliance & Confidentiality:

  • Uphold HIPAA standards

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting
  • BLS certification required within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
