Mission Summary
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Actions Sustaining Team to diagnose, develop, and deploy solutions that solve immediate challenges facing deployed autonomous software. You will play a pivotal role in resolving issues that help accelerate the growth of autonomous capabilities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Technical Discovery: Deep-dive into complex issues within the Planning and Controls stack reported by the triage team. Parse logs and replay simulation data to identify the root cause behind anomalous vehicle actions.
- Accelerated Resolutions: Own the deployment of software fixes. Lead development, testing, and deployment when immediate business needs arise.
- Tooling & Automation: Improve existing workflows by developing internal tooling and scripts to expedite log analysis, automate common patterns, and enhance team efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a technical liaison between teams to align on-road issues with ongoing development work.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred)
- 3+ years of C++ software development experience focused on high-performance and resilient systems
- Experience working within large, complex, modular codebases
- Proven experience delivering production software
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, version control at scale, and rigorous release cycles
- Passion for deploying software that interacts with the physical world
Bonus Points (Not Required)
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GitLab
- Background in robotics middleware (ROS, DDS) or autonomous systems
Work Arrangement

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $172,000—$229,000 USD (base salary)
Additional compensation may include bonus or company equity.
