Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Podiatrist to provide comprehensive care to patients in long-term care facilities. In this role, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform examinations on patients' legs and feet to identify and diagnose various diseases and conditions
  • Provide treatment for foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and calluses
  • Recommend and prescribe medication to relieve joint pain and suggest foot orthoses to enhance mobility and alleviate discomfort
  • Offer guidance and advice regarding foot care and overall wellness practices
  • Request additional medical tests as necessary based on initial assessments

Requirements

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
  • DEA License
  • Long-term care experience
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet 6–8 hours per day
