How you will get the job done
- Developing the technical design within existing application architecture at the component or service level
- Reimplementing visualization components end-to-end based on Angular, Open Layers and Python
- Validating if requirements can be implemented in a new software architecture
- Implementing features and change requests including analysis, design, coding activities, and required documentation
- Creating unit tests and component integration tests to ensure compliance with specifications
- Implementing DevOps activities in the product team to streamline development and operations
- Ensuring product-specific operations activities for all MR product environments
- Assessing operational impact during Major Releases and Satellite system releases
- Consulting, concepting, and developing application components and services (frontend, backend, data processes)
- Using Azure DevOps tools for source code management and documentation of project progress
- Maintaining, bug fixing, adapting, and improving existing software and applications according to new requirements
Skills and experience you will need
- Fluency in English
- At least 5 years of programming experience, including 3 years with Angular, TypeScript, and C#
- Strong expertise in Angular and TypeScript
- Proficiency in backend development using C# and .NET Core
- Very good knowledge of UI design with HTML and CSS
- Good knowledge of Azure PaaS Services (App Service, App Insights, Azure SQL Server)
- Experience with agile software development (SCRUM)
- Ability to work in a Scrum team using tools like Microsoft Teams and Azure DevOps
