Salesforce Lead QA Engineer

Description

We are looking for a Salesforce Lead QA Engineer to join our engineering team. The primary focus will be on maintaining and extending existing automated tests in Provar. While the main team approach is to automate tests whenever feasible, a small portion of manual testing may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the quality assurance process for Salesforce projects, ensuring high standards of software quality and reliability
  • Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Provar, with a focus on maximizing test coverage and efficiency
  • Perform thorough testing of new features and changes, including functional, integration and end-to-end testing
  • Conduct comprehensive regression testing to ensure that new releases do not negatively impact existing functionality
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automated solutions wherever feasible to reduce manual effort and improve test consistency
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify acceptance criteria and ensure testability
  • Analyze test results, report defects and work with the engineering team to drive resolution
  • Participate in test planning, estimation and risk assessment activities
  • Continuously improve QA processes, tools and best practices to enhance the overall quality of deliverables

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance for Salesforce projects
  • Proficiency in Provar for designing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts
  • Background in functional, integration and end-to-end testing
  • Skills in regression testing and manual testing
  • Competency in test planning, estimation and risk assessment
  • Capability to collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to clarify acceptance criteria
  • Understanding of QA processes, tools and best practices
