Mobile Test Automation Engineer

Salary: 300 - 450 SEK/h on B2B
Location: Onsite work (5 days per week) in Southern Sweden

During the first 3–6 months, commuting is possible, with travel and accommodation costs covered as business travel expenses. Relocation to Sweden will be required afterwards.

Project

You will join a team working on a large-scale ecosystem supporting advanced digital products and services across multiple platforms, with a strong focus on mobile environments. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and reliability of features delivered within a complex product landscape. The role combines hands-on testing with automation development and close collaboration with cross-functional teams in an international environment.

Responsibilities you'll have

Conduct daily functional and regression testing across multiple platforms
Plan, document, and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies
Identify, reproduce, and report bugs and feature-related issues
Analyze test coverage, track progress and communicate results effectively
Automate test cases using Swift-based frameworks
Collaborate with development and design teams
Ensure high standards of UX and functional quality
Maintain a meticulous focus on detail and ensure the visual and functional quality of features

Expected competences and knowledge

Minimum 3+ years of experience in QA / software testing within complex software ecosystems
Strong experience in test automation (preferably XCTest, XCUI)
Background in manual QA testing and structured methodologies
Solid knowledge of Swift
Experience with Unix/shell scripting and Python
Strong focus on user experience and quality
Experience in defect analysis and triage
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment

Nice to have knowledge

Experience with device-level or hardware-related testing
Knowledge of Objective-C or SwiftUI
Familiarity with automation pipelines, test dashboards, or reporting tools
