Sales Development Representative

About The Role

If you're a confident communicator who thrives in people-facing environments, knows how to build rapport quickly, and is looking to launch a career in sales, this opportunity offers a fully remote role on the Bridge Team. You will contact business owners across the U.S., qualify leads, and schedule high-quality meetings for the Sales team. The salary is $18/hr plus monthly bonus, with opportunities for growth and advancement. Interviews are conducted via phone and video call.

The Role in Action

  • Make outbound calls to prospective business clients from primarily cold lead sources.
  • Qualify leads to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Schedule appointments for the Sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly appointment-setting targets.
  • Log and manage outreach activities in the CRM.
  • Participate in call calibrations and roleplays to refine scripts, talk tracks, and messaging.
  • Stay informed about products, services, and industry trends to communicate effectively with prospects.

The Ideal Candidate

  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a communication-based or people-facing role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and active listening skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships quickly over the phone.
  • Coachable mindset with drive to grow and improve.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other software tools, or ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work within multiple time zones across the U.S.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
  • Prior experience in a high-volume phone environment (call center, outbound sales, political canvassing, fundraising) or fast-paced people-facing role.
