About the role

We are looking for a Front-end Engineer to join our Subscriber Experience Squad (SXP) - a high-impact, cross-functional team responsible for the full subscriber lifecycle, from checkout to account management. In this role, you will focus on building high-quality user interfaces that directly impact conversion, retention, and overall user experience. You will work closely with product leaders and engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable front-end solutions.

This role is for someone who uses AI tools to boost shipping velocity while maintaining high standards for code quality and system reliability.

Your mission

Build intuitive, responsive, high-performing user interfaces in an AI-first development culture that enhance subscriber experiences across key journeys.

Your Responsibilities

  • Master and evolve our AI-first development workflows
  • Build and maintain front-end applications using React and TypeScript
  • Implement user-facing features based on product and design requirements
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Contribute to component libraries and reusable UI patterns
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers
  • Ensure high quality through automated testing (unit and integration)
  • Debug and fix issues across different browsers and devices
  • Continuously look for ways to improve user experience and development practices

The ideal candidate will have the following Competencies

  • Practical use of AI tools in day-to-day development
  • 2-4 years of experience building front-end applications with React
  • Solid knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript fundamentals
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser behavior
  • Experience writing automated tests (unit, integration) and testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright)
  • Experience building responsive, user-friendly interfaces
  • Understanding of backend concepts (APIs, server-side logic)
  • Strong attention to detail and code quality
  • Good communication skills in English (B2+ minimum)
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Nice to have

  • Experience with Next.js and server-side development
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments
