EHS Manager

Mid

Dallas, TX

The Safety team exists to protect the organization’s most important asset — its people. The Safety Manager drives a proactive safety culture by owning both the strategic oversight and the hands-on, day-to-day execution of safety programs across the fulfillment center. This role conducts walk-throughs, leads incident investigations, delivers training, and ensures compliance is actively practiced.

How you will achieve success:

  • Ownership of key ORIR & LTI rates, trending at or below industry benchmarks — own the data, support Operations in determining root cause, and drive corrective and preventative actions to completion.
  • Ensure every OSHA recordable is documented accurately, investigated thoroughly, and corrective actions are closed on time.
  • Support P&C in ensuring new hire and PIT safety training completion is at or above 95% — ensure onboarding safety training is completed before a new hire’s first shift.
  • Conduct, score, and track monthly safety audits to closure — drive quarter-over-quarter improvement.
  • Maintain and practice emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and first aid resources across all shifts.
  • Actively manage workers’ compensation claims — utilize modified duty programs, ensure timely reporting, and reduce costs.

What experiences will help you in this role:

  • 3+ years of safety or EHS experience, ideally in a production, warehouse, distribution center, or e-fulfillment environment.
  • Formal or extensive regulatory experience, including responsibility for OSHA 300 logs, complaints, and onsite support.
  • Experience supporting multi-shift operations, including night or weekend shifts.
  • Direct, hands-on experience conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
  • Proven ability to independently own and execute integrated safety programs.
  • Comfortable working as a floor-level presence for a significant portion of each shift.

What you can expect:

  • Flexible work culture with generous vacation policy, paid wedding week leave, and paid parental leave.
  • Recognition programs, milestone rewards, and opportunities to give back to the community.
  • Affordable medical, dental, and vision plans with nationwide coverage.
  • Free telehealth and on-demand mental health resources.
  • Paid time off to support community involvement.
