EHS Manager

Senior

Las Vegas, NV

The Safety team exists to protect the organization’s most important asset — its people. The Safety Manager drives a proactive safety culture by owning both the strategic oversight and the hands-on, day-to-day execution of safety programs across the fulfillment center. This role maintains a strong floor-level presence, conducting walk-throughs, leading incident investigations, delivering training, and ensuring compliance is actively practiced. In the absence of dedicated Safety Supervisors, the Safety Manager carries out the full breadth of responsibilities required to keep every associate safe and every program audit-ready.

How you will achieve success:

  • Ownership of key ORIR & LTI rates, trending at or below industry benchmarks for warehouse and e-fulfillment operations — owning the data, supporting Operations in determining root causes, and driving corrective and preventative actions to completion.
  • Ensure every OSHA recordable is documented accurately, investigated thoroughly, and corrective actions are closed on time with Operations engagement.
  • Support P&C in ensuring new hire and PIT safety training completion is at or above 95% for all associates and departments at all times, with onboarding safety training completed before a new hire’s first shift.
  • Conduct monthly safety audits, score results, and track open items to closure with consistent quarter-over-quarter improvement.
  • Maintain and regularly practice emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and first aid resources across all shifts.
  • Actively manage workers’ compensation claims, utilize modified duty programs, report claims on time, and drive cost reduction.

What experiences will help you in this role:

  • 3+ years of safety or EHS experience, ideally in a production, warehouse, distribution center, or e-fulfillment environment.
  • Formal or extensive regulatory experience, including responsibility for OSHA 300 logs, complaints, and onsite support.
  • Experience supporting multi-shift operations, including night or weekend shifts.
  • Direct, hands-on experience conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
  • Proven ability to independently own and execute integrated safety programs without Safety Supervisor support.
  • Comfortable working as a floor-level presence for a significant portion of each shift.

What you can expect:

  • Flexible work culture that promotes results and encourages time off, including generous vacation policy, paid time-off for wedding week, and paid parental leave.
  • Recognition programs including milestone gifts, swag store credit, nonprofit donations, and Spotlight Awards.
  • Affordable medical, dental, and vision plans with nationwide coverage, plus free telehealth and on-demand mental health resources.
  • Paid time off to give back and make a social impact in the community.
  • Commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace and equal opportunity employment.
