The Safety team exists to protect associates by driving a proactive safety culture across the fulfillment center. The Safety Manager owns both the strategic oversight and hands-on execution of safety programs, maintaining a strong floor presence to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

How you will achieve success:

  • Own key ORIR & LTI rates, ensuring they trend at or below industry benchmarks; analyze data, determine root causes with Operations, and drive corrective and preventative actions to completion.
  • Ensure every OSHA recordable is accurately documented, thoroughly investigated, and corrective actions are closed on time.
  • Support P&C in maintaining new hire and PIT safety training completion at or above 95%; ensure onboarding safety training is completed before first shift.
  • Conduct and score monthly safety audits; track and close open items with consistent quarter-over-quarter improvement.
  • Maintain and practice emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and first aid readiness across all shifts.
  • Actively manage workers’ compensation claims, utilize modified duty programs, ensure timely reporting, and drive cost reduction trends.

What experiences will help you in this role:

  • 3+ years of safety or EHS experience in production, warehouse, distribution center, or e-fulfillment environments.
  • Formal regulatory experience including OSHA 300 logs, complaint handling, and onsite support.
  • Experience supporting multi-shift operations, including nights or weekends.
