Job Description

Join the Industrial Environmental team as a Project Engineer and contribute to innovative solutions that drive positive change in communities. In this role, you will apply diversified engineering knowledge to a broad range of assignments. As a registered professional engineer, you will provide supervision and guidance on objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters while performing complex assignments requiring development of new and improved techniques and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare planning and design documents in the appropriate engineering discipline.
  • Coordinate and supervise professional and technical staff.
  • Perform process design calculations, prepare cost estimates, and conduct economic analyses.
  • Develop project scopes of work, schedules, initiation paperwork, and manage budgets and progress reports.
  • Coordinate design aspects of projects, direct team members, maintain project records, and attend client meetings.
  • Manage preparation of technical reports, memos, and summaries to communicate findings.
  • Serve as project manager for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Assist with marketing efforts and prepare project proposals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • 8+ years of relevant civil or environmental engineering experience, including solid waste facilities, environmental remediation, and mining reclamation.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Proficiency with engineering tools, software, and methodologies.
  • Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
