Summary: The Test Automation Engineer will focus on ensuring software quality through implementing and maintaining automated testing approaches, facilitating effective communication among stakeholders, and advising on best practices in test automation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and clarifying functional and non-functional requirements
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests
- Documenting test results and reporting on software quality to stakeholders (developers, analysts, QA, management)
- Drafting test cases and managing the bug lifecycle
- Actively contributing to the test automation strategy choice of tools, test coverage, and test architecture
- Taking on an advisory role on the optimization of test approach and processes
- Working within an Agile/Scrum context
Key Requirements:
- Medior to senior experience in test automation (minimum 3 to 5 years)
- Very good knowledge of Java
- Strong experience with Playwright (must-have)
- Proactive mindset and strong communication skills
- Able to work autonomously and at the same time impact the team
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Selenium
- Good knowledge of test methodologies (ISTQB or similar)
- Familiarity with BDD / Gherkin
- Knowledge of API testing and REST
- Understanding of synchronous/asynchronous communication (APIs, events)
