Project

We are looking for an experienced Application Performance Engineer to join a team working on a complex Core Banking solution. The role focuses on ensuring top-tier performance, scalability, and reliability of Java-based applications running on WebLogic, contributing directly to a seamless user experience and system efficiency.

Responsibilities you'll have

Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas
Design and implement performance optimization strategies for Java/WebLogic applications
Collaborate with developers and architects to introduce performance enhancements
Monitor application health using performance monitoring tools
Investigate and resolve performance issues proactively and reactively
Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations
Stay up-to-date with performance engineering best practices

Expected competences and knowledge

Proven experience as a Performance Engineer or similar role
Strong understanding of application architecture and performance optimization
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter)
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics)
Strong experience with WebLogic performance tuning and analysis
Knowledge of web server configuration and optimization
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

Experience with Temenos Core Banking
