Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician needed for locums coverage at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in North Carolina. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, managing approximately 30 patients per shift with assigned rounding responsibilities.
The role includes a robust consultation service covering 25 – 40 patients, primarily treating individuals with neurologic conditions such as stroke and traumatic brain injury. Medical management is required, and experience in acute and chronic pain management is preferred (no injections).
