We are recruiting for a global organization operating in the aviation industry, focused on developing advanced avionics and embedded systems used in modern aircraft.
The team works on safety-critical software and system-level solutions for next-generation aviation platforms. It’s a stable environment with long-term projects and strong engineering standards.
You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team working on embedded systems, with real impact on system architecture, requirements, and certification processes.
Key responsibilities
Work on system-level architecture, requirements engineering, and technical documentation
Analyze, define, and maintain system requirements and ensure full traceability
Translate system requirements into technical specifications for software teams
Collaborate with software, systems, verification, and certification teams across the development lifecycle
Support software verification, validation, and certification activities
Participate in reviews of requirements, design documentation, and engineering deliverables
Identify risks, safety, and reliability concerns and support mitigation activities
Ensure compliance with engineering processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Contribute to process improvements and engineering best practices
Ideal candidate profile
Experience in systems engineering, requirements engineering or embedded software projects
Ability to translate customer/system requirements into technical specifications
Experience with documentation, traceability and verification activities
Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple engineering teams
Understanding of embedded software development lifecycle
Understanding of C/C++ and embedded systems
Experience in regulated industries (automotive, aerospace, rail, medical devices, industrial automation)
Nice to have
Knowledge of standards like DO-178C, ARP4754
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering
Background in avionics or other regulated industries
Conditions
Form of cooperation: UoP + KUP 50%
Hybrid work model: 2 days per week in the office (Gdańsk or Warszawa or Rzeszów)
