Position overview

We are seeking a skilled Appian Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy business process management (BPM) and low-code applications using the Appian platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient workflow automation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement applications using the Appian Low-Code Automation Platform.

  • Build and configure Appian components including

  • Develop and maintain Appian workflows, business rules, and data models.

  • Integrate Appian applications with external systems, databases, and third-party services.

  • Perform application testing, debugging, and performance tuning.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Support deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.

  • Create technical documentation, user guides, and deployment documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience developing applications using the Appian platform

  • Strong understanding of business process management concepts and workflow design

  • Hands on experience with Appian components, process models, and SAIL interfaces

  • Experience with integration using REST APIs, web services, and databases

  • Knowledge of SQL and data modeling principles

  • Familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

  • Experience with application testing, debugging, and performance optimization

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments
