Responsibilities:
Ensuring backend systems reliability and performance through rigorous API testing, including both functional and non-functional aspects.
Owning and driving the end-to-end user quality experience across web and backend platforms.
Creating, maintaining and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases across multiple browsers and platforms.
Actively supporting software development and IT teams by thoroughly testing new features and providing actionable feedback.
Collaborating in the design of test strategies, including detailed API and integration testing approaches.
Analyzing and troubleshooting problems, documenting findings and working with relevant teams to ensure timely resolutions.
Providing ongoing suggestions for software quality improvements and test process optimization of API.
Must-haves:
Proven experience in software testing roles for 3+ years.
Strong ability to create API requests, review and suggest improvements to API documentation and design comprehensive test scenarios that cover functional, non-functional, performance and reliability aspects.
Solid experience designing and executing test strategies for APIs, integrations and database level validations.
Hands-on testing experience with modern web applications and eCommerce platforms built using frameworks like React, PHP, Go and similar technologies.
Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and workflows.
Strong understanding of backend systems, databases, SQL and system architecture fundamentals.
Ability to perform test planning, design and execution for both frontend UI and backend services.
Proficiency in handling complex integration scenarios involving third party APIs, internal tools and data synchronization.
