Start: ASAP (6 months with possible extension) Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Role Summary We are seeking a Senior GCP Network expert with Terraform skills to lead the evolution of our cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on moving away from legacy networking toward a modern, identity-aware, and highly automated architecture utilizing Google Cloud’s latest networking suite. Key Responsibilities Modern IaC Management: Maintain and evolve high-version modular IaC using Terraform (v1.11+) specifically optimized for Google Cloud. NCC Orchestration: Manage large-scale hub-and-spoke topologies via Network Connectivity Center (NCC) , including VPC, VPN, and Interconnect integration. Identity-Aware Security: Implement Network Firewall Policies and Secure Tags to replace legacy IP-based rules with granular security. Service Connectivity (PSC & GXLB): Expert configuration of Private Service Connect (PSC) for internal services (e.g., Kafka) and Global External Load Balancing for internet-facing apps. Advanced DNS Architecture: Manage complex DNS environments using peering, forwarding, and DNS Response Policies for regional overrides. Secure Egress & Proxying: Finalize the Secure Web Proxy (SWP) implementation (TLS inspection/Explicit Routing) and manage Linux-level routing ( Squid/iptables ) for legacy application paths. Required Technical Skills Platforms: Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Networking. IaC: Good knowledge of Terraform (modern modular patterns). Networking: Strong grasp of NCC, PSC, GXLB, and Cloud DNS. Security: Proficiency in TLS inspection, WAF integration, and Zero Trust networking.
