Hey! Nice to see you!

At Incubly, we believe that great people want to work with great people, so we started building a company that would attract great minds and enable us to achieve our goals without feeling like we're just working, but rather having fun. Our mission is to mainly support tech companies and startups (scaleups) in fast, high-quality scaling up of their teams and boosting their product development, testing, and deployment so that we can succeed together.

We are working with Gravitee, a global leader in API Management and a 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant™ Leader. Founded in 2015 by four developers, Gravitee now powers API and event stream ecosystems for enterprises like Michelin, Roche, and Blue Yonder—driving digital transformation and enabling innovation at scale.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to work with our clients on building, configuring and operating cloud-native API platforms, primarily based on Gravitee API Management, Kubernetes and public cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with Solution Architects and client teams, translating architecture designs into production-ready environments and automation.

Your daily responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure and operate API Management platforms (primarily Gravitee) across development, test and production environments

  • Install, configure and maintain Gravitee components on Kubernetes (Gateways, Management API, UI, repositories, operators)

  • Prepare and manage Kubernetes environments, including namespaces, networking, ingress/egress, secrets and RBAC

  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm charts

  • Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for:

  • API definitions and configurations

  • Gravitee plugins and extensions

  • Infrastructure and platform components

  • Automate deployments, upgrades and configuration changes across environments

  • Configure and operate observability stacks for API platforms (logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, alerts)

  • Support API Gateway configuration from an operational perspective (policies, certificates, secrets, runtime configuration)

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD and API Gateway runtime

  • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects to implement target architectures defined during discovery and design phases

  • Participate in environment handovers, operational documentation and client enablement

  • Work with distributed teams and clients across different time zones in a consulting delivery model

We need you to have

  • Strong experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering roles in production environments

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in real-world deployments (installation, upgrades, networking, RBAC, config management)

  • Practical experience deploying and operating applications on public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP acceptable)

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation or similar)

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Argo CD, Flux, Helm)

  • Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud-native deployment patterns

  • Good understanding of API-based systems and integration architectures

  • Practical knowledge of security concepts relevant to infrastructure and APIs (TLS, certificates, secrets management, IAM, least privilege)

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, OpenTelemetry or similar)

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, platform and application layers

  • Good communication skills and ability to work directly with architects and client teams

  • Good command of English (spoken and written)

It would be great if you also have

  • Hands-on experience with Gravitee API Management Platform (deployment, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting)

  • Experience supporting API Gateways or similar middleware platforms (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, WSO2, MuleSoft)

  • Experience with AWS services used in integration and platform scenarios (EKS, IAM, ALB/NLB, Route53, S3, RDS, MSK, SQS/SNS)

  • Experience with event-driven or streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis)

  • Experience working in regulated environments or with security/compliance requirements

  • Experience working in a consulting or Professional Services delivery model

What you can expect from the role

  • A strongly hands-on role focused on building and running real production platforms

  • Close collaboration with Solution Architects and API engineers on client projects

  • Work with modern cloud-native technologies (Gravitee, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, observability)

  • Exposure to multiple client environments and architectures instead of a single internal platform

  • Opportunity to grow into senior / lead DevOps or platform engineering roles over time

Our offer

In addition to great company and challenging projects, we can offer much more, i.e.

  • Knowledge sharing within our company

  • Agile and friendly atmosphere, non-violent communication and full respect for diversity
