DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Application Delivery
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure and application delivery capabilities. In this role, you will work across both infrastructure and application improvements, collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to ensure business SLI/SLOs are consistently met and optimised.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a DevOps engineer across infrastructure and application initiatives, driving continuous improvement.
Collaborate with business application owners and technology teams to provide trusted guidance on cloud-based infrastructure.
Monitor and manage the Azure foundation platform, enabling efficient and reliable application deployments.
Identify areas for infrastructure improvement and work with the feature delivery team to implement changes in production.
Conduct root cause analysis of system issues and incidents, resolving errors to minimise recurrence and optimise performance and availability.
Recommend and implement enhancements for monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
Apply centrally provided patches and updates as part of engineering activities.
Required Experience:
Hands-on experience building and managing a range of services in Microsoft Azure.
Strong experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices, including coding, tooling, and methodologies.
Proven experience working with multiple support groups contributing to a service.
Demonstrable experience designing, implementing, and automating compliance frameworks for cloud virtual compute resources.
