We are looking for a Senior Cloud/Platform Engineer (m/f/n) to join our client’s team.

Context:

You will join a Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) team responsible for designing, documenting, and deploying infrastructure stacks. The role focuses on working with Internal Developer Platforms (Cycloid), delivering infrastructure solutions, and collaborating with sovereign cloud providers within a highly secure environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, document, and deploy infrastructure stacks using Cycloid (Internal Development Platform).

  • Co-develop and evolve the platform together with the CCoE team, including standard stacks and custom extensions for sovereign cloud services.

  • Work closely with EU sovereign cloud providers (e.g., Clever Cloud, STACKIT, Scaleway, S3NS).

  • Prototype infrastructure solutions and make reusable components available to internal customers.

  • Provide advisory support to engineering teams on cloud provider selection and service architecture.

  • Deliver and configure new cloud accounts and ensure proper onboarding.

  • Coordinate work distribution within the CCoE team and ensure alignment across initiatives.

  • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud/platform engineering (AWS or Azure).

  • Experience with at least one EU sovereign cloud provider (e.g., Clever Cloud, STACKIT, Scaleway, S3NS).

  • Hands-on experience with Cycloid for at least 6 months.

  • Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

  • Experience designing and delivering scalable cloud platforms.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong communication skills in English (B2+), with ability to present technical topics (C1 preferred).

  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with additional relevant experience.

  • EU/EEA citizenship.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or IBM Cloud.

  • Experience with other Internal Developer Platforms (e.g., Backstage, Humanitec, Port).
