The Azure Cloud Engineer in the Connected Brewery Data Platform product team is responsible for designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient cloud data infrastructure based on Azure. The role involves defining and overseeing CI/CD pipelines, managing multi‑environment deployments, and ensuring platform reliability, observability, and governance across the data platform.

 

Your responsibilities would include: 

 

  • designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML-based pipelines, release strategies, branch policies)

  • managing Azure environments (Databricks, ADLS Gen2, ADF, Functions, Event Hubs, Event Grid) across DEV/TEST/PROD

  • implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and data observability (Azure Monitor, data contracts)

  • optimizing compute usage (Databricks clusters, DBUs, autoscaling strategies) to ensure cost efficiency

  • enforcing governance and security standards (RBAC, RLS, Unity Catalog integration, secret management via Key Vault)

  • supporting release management, rollback strategies, and environment promotion frameworks

  • improving platform reliability, resilience, and disaster recovery capabilities

  • troubleshooting production incidents and support root cause analysis (RCA)

  • driving DevOps best practices (Code reviews, branching models, quality gates, automated testing)

  • collaborating with the Data Architect to align infrastructure and deployments with HEINEKEN standards (Architecture, Compliance, Security).


You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • solid background in Azure event-driven services (Event Hubs, Event Grid, Functions, Logic Apps)

  • knowledge of governance frameworks and tools (Unity Catalog, RLS, data contracts, observability tools)

  • experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)

  • strong problem ownership and analytical judgement

  • ability to collaborate across cultures and communicate technical concepts

  • proactive, ownership-driven mindset, able to support, and drive priorities

  • excellent English language.

The Production and Quality IT Specialist (Azure, Parsable, IOT, Industry 4.0) , is part of the Product team and is one of the professionals who do the work of delivering a potentially releasable increment of the product at the end of each sprint.
