Project

You will be involved in a financial services project focused on enterprise banking solutions, leading test automation initiatives, developing UI and API automation frameworks, and driving quality improvements across complex systems in an international environment.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Lead, mentor, and support team members in adopting test automation best practices and quality engineering standards

• Define and drive the test automation strategy, including roadmap planning, framework architecture, tooling selection, and quality governance

• Design, develop, maintain, and continuously enhance scalable and robust UI and API test automation frameworks

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and Functional SMEs to establish effective quality approaches, acceptance criteria, and risk-based testing strategies

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless delivery processes

• Assess automation opportunities and define the optimal level of test automation for new features and business requirements

• Continuously improve test coverage, execution efficiency, reliability, and diagnostic capabilities of automated test suites

• Manage test data dependencies, test environments, and complex cross-system integration scenarios to ensure stable and reliable test execution

• Collaborate effectively within international and cross-functional teams, while actively contributing to QA and test automation communities of practice

Expected competences and knowledge

• Over 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation, covering both UI and API testing (REST/SOAP)

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript, with additional experience in Java and exposure to .NET-based environments

• Proven experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks, including Playwright, Selenium, WebdriverIO, and Protractor

• Solid understanding of test automation framework design, architecture principles, and best practices for building scalable and maintainable automation solutions

• Experience in API testing, SQL queries, and data validation to ensure end-to-end quality across complex systems

• Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and other continuous delivery platforms

• Strong knowledge of Git-based development workflows and collaborative software delivery practices

• Experienced in working with Jira and other QA management tools within Agile/Scrum environments

• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, mentor team members, and promote test automation best practices across teams

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in dynamic and international environments

• Fluent in spoken and written English

Nice to have

• Experience working within the banking and financial services domain, with an understanding of enterprise-scale systems and regulatory requirements

• Familiarity with Temenos T24 and its role within core banking environments

• Proven experience operating in large, distributed enterprise testing environments, collaborating with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams

• Practical experience leveraging AI-assisted development and productivity tools, including GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude, to accelerate test automation development, code refactoring, troubleshooting, and documentation activities

• Exposure to modern AI- and LLM-driven test automation approaches, including the generation of test scenarios, locators, test data, assertions, and automation assets based on business requirements and functional specifications

• Strong interest in applying emerging AI technologies to improve software quality, test efficiency, and automation coverage
