About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer / Test Automation Engineer to join a cross-functional product team working with complex digital services and large-scale system integrations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on testing and helping teams mature their quality assurance practices. You will play a key role in strengthening the team's automation capabilities while also supporting manual testing when needed. The team is currently building up its automation competence, so we are looking for someone experienced who can guide, support, and help establish best practices within test automation. You will collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and manual testers in an Agile environment, contributing to both technical quality and team knowledge-sharing.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web applications and backend services.

  • Perform manual testing when required as part of the overall QA process.

  • Help define and improve test strategies, QA processes, and automation frameworks.

  • Support the team in building stronger test automation capabilities and share best practices.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and product stakeholders to ensure high product quality.

  • Participate actively in refinement sessions and discussions around requirements and solution quality.

  • Identify risks, edge cases, and quality improvements early in the development lifecycle.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.

  • Promote a quality-focused mindset across the team.

  • Several years of experience within QA and software testing.
