QA Automation Engineer 🚀

💡 The Project & Role:

Looking for a short, high-impact project where you can actually make a difference? We are modernizing and migrating a massive existing PHP platform to Laravel, and we need a pragmatic QA Automation heavy-hitter to ensure everything runs like a well-oiled machine. You’ll be influencing engineering and product decisions, integrating CI/CD pipelines, and driving a risk-based approach to quality.

No micro-management. 100% remote. 

🚀 Mandatory skills:

• Automation: Hands-on with Cypress, Selenium, or modern frameworks.

• Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or PHP.

• Architecture: Experience in API-first and service-based testing.

• Process: Experience with JIRA, X-ray, and Agile/Scrum delivery.

• English: Minimum B2 (clear communication with international stakeholders).

  Nice to have:

• Strong analytical mindset & pragmatic, risk-based approach to quality.

• Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
  

🛠️ Your Core Responsibilities:

• Automating tests: Building and maintaining robust test suites (Cypress/Selenium) for a modern SaaS product.

• Guiding the migration: Ensuring top quality and stability during the transition from legacy PHP to Laravel.

• API testing & CI/CD: Validating service-based architectures and embedding tests into the deployment pipeline.

• Risk management: Taking a pragmatic approach to quality, prioritizing critical paths in a fast-paced environment.

• Being a partner: Collaborating closely with Scrum teams and influencing product & engineering decisions.
