💡Project Description:
In this role, you’ll develop and maintain Java-based services and REST APIs, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to system architecture with a strong focus on reliability, security, and code quality. You’ll also take part in the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD processes, automated testing, code reviews, and production support.
Please note: this is a hybrid position, you will be expected to come into the office 6-8 days per month overall (the office is located in Kraków).
📈 Your Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Java backend services, REST APIs, and microservices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
Support production systems, resolve incidents, and troubleshoot issues
Contribute to system architecture focused on performance and reliability
Work in Agile teams using CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews
Maintain technical documentation and improve engineering practices
Act as a technical SME for application and support-related topics
Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers
🔑 Key Requirements:
Advanced English in speaking and writing
Strong commercial experience with Java (8+/11+/17+/21) and Spring Boot
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, and SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Familiarity with React, MQ/Solace, Redis, and Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD, Git, Maven/Gradle, and DevOps tooling
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, Jenkins, etc.)
Understanding of application security and testing practices
Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
Strong communication skills and ability to work across distributed teams
Self-driven, customer-oriented, and comfortable owning tasks end-to-end
