Your new role
Acting as a technical bridge between teams working on ECU software, in‑vehicle applications, backend services and connected IoT systems.
Coordinating the development of an automotive ECU with IoT capabilities, including embedded software, application layers and cloud‑integrated components.
Defining and enforcing cross‑team engineering standards for software architecture, code quality, maintainability and technical best practices.
Identifying and resolving technical blockers through root‑cause analysis, diagnostics and code debugging, and providing implementation support when needed.
Owning CI/CD architecture as well as release and testing strategies to ensure stable and high‑quality software delivery.
Ensuring smooth integration and interface management between ECU software, vehicle applications, backend services, cloud platforms and IoT devices.
Implementing observability practices such as monitoring and distributed tracing to detect failures, performance bottlenecks and cross‑system issues.
Applying Site Reliability Engineering principles to maintain measurable service quality and operational performance.
What you'll need to succeed
University degree in computer science, electrical engineering or software engineering.
English and Polish proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Several years of experience in technical project leadership, software architecture or senior engineering roles, ideally in automotive, IoT or connected systems.
Strong hands‑on programming experience in Python or Go.
Experience designing and operating distributed systems on Google Cloud Platform.
Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or OpenTofu preferred).
Solid understanding of CI/CD, release automation and testing strategies.
Good knowledge of SRE practices including SLI, SLO and error budgets.
Familiarity with AUTOSAR‑based ECU development and the automotive software lifecycle.
Experience with in‑vehicle applications such as Android Automotive or embedded HMI solutions.
Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Agile methodologies and the V‑model.
Experience with Jira, Codebeamer and Confluence.
Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
