You will be contributing to the development and quality assurance of a mature SaaS platform that powers virtual, hybrid, and onsite enterprise events.
It is a large-scale event platform built on one codebase, supporting white-label mobile applications (iOS/Android) and a browser-based web application, with a strong focus on real-time event execution. A key part of the ecosystem is Backstage — the central web-based admin panel where events are configured, branded, and managed.
The product includes critical features such as event agendas, attendee registration, mass mailing, CRM exports, and especially live streaming, which is one of the most business-critical areas of the platform. . Because you will be working in a truly international environment, fluent English is a must-have.
Responsibilities
SDLC Integration: Contribute at every stage from initial scoping and test strategy to release and post-release verification in production.
Risk Hunting: Identify risk areas early in the sprint and surface them before they become blockers.
Test Execution: Design and execute test scenarios rooted in real user workflows, boundary conditions, and edge cases.
Automation Maintenance: Identify manual flows for automation, develop new coverage, and maintain existing suites to reduce flakiness.
API & Debugging: Inspect REST API request/response flows, validate JSON payloads, and debug headers using Postman.
Defect Management: Reproduce, document, and prioritize defects with clear steps and supporting evidence.
Squad Collaboration: Partner closely with QA, Product, and Engineering teams to adjust the development trajectory of in-flight features.
Must Have
5+ Years of Experience: Proven track record in Quality Assurance for SaaS, Web, or Mobile applications.
System Deep-Dive: Solid experience testing back-office tools, CMS platforms, and admin-facing dashboards.
API Mastery: You must be confident inspecting REST API request/response flows, validating JSON payloads, and debugging headers using Postman.
SDLC Strategy: Demonstrated ability to define end-to-end testing strategies from initial scoping through to post-release verification in production.
Code Literacy: Proficient with GitHub; you must be able to read Pull Requests, understand code changes, and leave informed review comments.
Automation & Stability: You will identify manual flows to be automated and actively maintain existing suites (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) to reduce flakiness and ensure a trustworthy test signal.
Frontend Debugging: Knowledge of JavaScript (React/Vue/Angular) sufficient to read component code and debug how frontend state interacts with backend APIs.
-
Certification: ISTQB Foundation level or above is required.
