About the Project
As a Workflow Engineer, you will be responsible for turning prioritized customer-service scenarios into reliable, production-ready AI workflows. You will design and implement end-to-end orchestration, ensuring that the logic, SOPs, and system integrations result in accurate, consistent AI responses.
Our Customer (logistics industry), handles approximately 20 million customer queries via email annually across 200+ distinct business scenarios.
They are now entering a massive scale-up phase, aiming to automate ~15% of the annual global email volume.

Job Responsibilities
Designing and implementing end-to-end AI workflow orchestration
Integrating data and systems using APIs and event streams (e.g., Kafka)
Applying scenario logic and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into the automated flow
Developing SQL-based transformations and robust data models
Building maintainable and testable code in Java, Scala, or Kotlin
Collaborating closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Business Stakeholders
Expectations
Strong programming skills in JVM-based languages: Java, Scala, or Kotlin
Proficiency in SQL, including data modeling, complex queries, and transformations
Experience in system integrations (APIs, Kafka, event-driven architecture)
Solid coding practices, including a strong emphasis on unit testing
Analytical mindset with the ability to debug complex data issues end-to-end
Excellent communication skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team
Very good English (B2/C1) – both written and spoken
Openness to AI-assisted coding and a proactive approach to new technologies
