Senior Fullstack Engineer (React / Node.js)

Join a modernization effort within the transport and logistics industry, focused on building a containerized web application in a microservices architecture. You will be responsible for enhancing a React (Vite) frontend and a Node.js backend, integrated with Azure cloud services. The system manages critical contractual reporting, electronic approvals, and complex data exports, requiring a high level of precision and performance.

Responsibilities

• Fullstack Development: Scaling a modern React frontend and integrating it seamlessly with RESTful Node.js APIs.

• Cloud Integration: Connecting the application to Azure services, specifically focusing on file storage (Blob) and database management.

• DevOps & Infrastructure: Setting up and evolving CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, and deployment processes within a Kubernetes environment.

• Quality Assurance: Maintaining rigorous standards for code quality, system performance, and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

• Expertise: 5+ years of commercial experience in production-grade web application development.

• JS Mastery: 5+ years of hands-on development with JavaScript and React.

• API Integration: 3+ years of experience working with complex REST APIs and frontend-backend synchronization.

• Languages:

  • German: Upper-intermediate (B1) for professional communication.

  • English: Independent user (B2).

Nice to Have

• Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (1–3 years).

• Database Knowledge: Practical familiarity with SQL and relational databases.

• Security: Understanding of Entra ID (authentication) and file management via Azure Blob Storage.

• Automation: Proficiency with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
