Responsibilities:


  1. Data flow: Design, build and maintain data pipelines, APIs and protocols as needed to implement and improve CS’s strategy. (Technology: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and Azure API Management)
  2. Data Storage: Design, build and maintain best-in-class data storage solutions best suited to the business requirements and all data types, whether structured, unstructured, large or small, rapid access or cold storage, and including meta-data, hierarchies and ontologies. (Technology: Azure Storage, Azure SQL)
  3. Technology Evolution: Stay up-to-date with latest trends in cloud-based data engineering and development.


Requirements


  1. At least 2 years of experience working with Azure
  2. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage (ADLS), Azure SQL, Azure Databricks and API Management are necessary for this role
  3. Hands-on programming skills, preferably in Python and JS, and data formats such as JSON and XML.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication to work side-by-side with a high-performing team, as well as openness and flexibility to learn, adopt and adapt to new technologies.
  5. Able to multi-task and work in a complex organization with multiple stakeholders.
  6. Azure Data Engineer Associate certification (preferable)
