Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Automation Engineer to join our team and support the design, automation, and optimization of cloud and virtualized infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate has strong scripting skills, hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, and a solid understanding of cloud platforms and automation frameworks.

This role focuses on building scalable, automated solutions that improve infrastructure reliability, efficiency, and deployment speed.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for cloud and virtualized environments.

  • Build and optimize automation scripts and services using Python.

  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Support and automate infrastructure running on VMware and OpenStack platforms.

  • Implement and maintain workflow orchestration solutions using Apache Airflow.

  • Collaborate with network and security teams to automate firewall rules, network configurations, and policy enforcement.

  • Work with enterprise storage solutions to automate provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management.

  • Improve CI/CD and infrastructure automation processes.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud and containerized environments.

  • Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and development teams to enhance platform reliability and scalability.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for automation processes and systems.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum Licencjat or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Strong programming skills in Python.

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

  • Practical experience with VMware virtualization environments.

  • Experience working with OpenStack cloud platforms.

  • Knowledge of Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.

  • Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.

  • Cloud certifications or Kubernetes certifications.
