THE WORK:

As a Senior Embedded C++ Low Level Engineer, you will:

  • Design and implement complex low‑level drivers using modern C++, including tests and documentation.

  • Integrate existing drivers provided by suppliers into embedded platforms.

  • Review and approve requirements, architecture, design, code, tests, and documentation across the development lifecycle.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely (most of the time), onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances. Qualifications

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Advanced knowledge of modern C++ for embedded firmware and driver development.

  • Understanding of low‑level communication buses (I2C, SPI, MDIO, CAN, LIN, Ethernet).

  • Strong understanding of RTOS and embedded OS concepts.

  • Experience with multi‑core embedded systems.

  • Experience using gtest and gmock for C++ unit testing.

THE WORK As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will contribute to building a future‑ready Software‑Defined Vehicle Platform that integrates Linux, Android, QNX, AUTOSAR & Adaptive AUTOSAR into a unified developer ecosystem. In this role, you will: Act as the technical leader responsible for the Yocto‑based Linux platform architecture to ensure scalability and long‑term maintainability across embedded products. Lead and evolve embedded Linux platform architecture, contributing to BSP integration, kernel strategy and bootloader design. Optimize key system areas such as performance, footprint, boot time and reliability. Conduct platform‑level debugging, root‑cause analysis and engage with silicon vendors and external partners as the primary technical interface. Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office — depending on specific project circumstances. Qualifications HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED 4+ years of experience working with Embedded Linux. Strong background in Yocto‑based Linux development. Hands‑on knowledge of Linux kernel, U‑Boot and Device Tree. Proficiency in C/C++, shell scripting and system performance optimization. Experience with platform debugging, root‑cause analysis and technical leadership. BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE Experience in multi‑product or multi‑SoC platform ownership. Security hardening or update‑strategy experience. Contributions to open‑source or Yocto/AOSP initiatives. Background in automotive, industrial or safety‑critical systems.
