Frontend Platform Developer

Job Overview

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to join our transformation program, where we’re rebuilding our core logistics operating system into a microservices-based architecture—right within our IT Germany team. Your job? Implement the diverse user interfaces needed by our core logistic operating system, collaborating with a diverse team across our IT frontend chapter. Main Responsibilities

- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces, integrated with APIs and backend systems;

- Build and maintain reusable frontend foundations (shared libraries, patterns, and components) to support multiple applications and teams;

- Rebuild or refactor legacy frontends using modern frameworks and platforms, ensuring long-term maintainability;

- Define and apply frontend standards and best practices (coding guidelines, testing approach, and documentation) to ensure consistent quality;

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability (including performance tuning and bundle optimization);

- Work closely with backend developers, QA, DevOps, product owners, and business analysts to deliver stable and user-centered solutions.

Key Requirements

- 5+ years’ experience in web frontend development, ideally in enterprise-scale environments;

- Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques;

- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript;

- Experience with Angular 19+, TypeScript, SCSS, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, AWS Cloud);

- Experience building and evolving Design Systems and internal shareable libraries, including documentation and adoption support;

- Knowledge of microfrontend architecture and composition patterns, with attention to dependency management and compatibility;

- Strong focus on quality (testing mindset, performance awareness, and accessibility best practices);

- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and impact on company’s success;

- Good English skills both spoken and written;

- Computer science degree or equivalent.
