We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer (SDET IV) to join a long‑term project delivered by Sii for an international organization developing large‑scale, high‑traffic fraud and regulatory platforms. In this role, you will influence architecture decisions, shape quality engineering strategy, and design next‑generation automation frameworks for complex, distributed microservices.

You will work in a modern cloud environment (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes) and collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams in an Agile setup. The position offers strong development opportunities through Sii’s certification programs and technology partnerships.

Your tasks

  • Lead architecture and design reviews, ensuring testability, observability, and reliability of distributed microservices and event-driven systems

  • Design, develop, and evolve scalable, self-healing automation frameworks supporting CI/CD and high‑concurrency workflows

  • Own and optimize the quality infrastructure, including automated test creation, execution, monitoring, and global trend analysis

  • Drive shift‑left practices, reliability engineering, and proactive testing approaches such as chaos principles and performance validation

  • Collaborate within Agile teams to define test strategies, release readiness criteria, quality KPIs, and maintain high-quality technical documentation

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in test automation, SDET, or similar engineering roles

  • Strong expertise in building automation frameworks for distributed systems (Python, Java or Go) and working with CI/CD pipelines

  • Hands-on experience with cloud and container technologies (AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, Docker)

  • Solid understanding of microservices, infrastructure‑as‑code, and observability concepts; ability to analyze root causes of failures

  • English proficiency at B2/C1 level

  • Residing in Poland required
