We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Developer to join our retail client’s agile development team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. As a member of the team, you will take part in the full software development lifecycle, contribute to process improvements, and help shape best practices in test automation and CI/CD integration.
Your tasks
Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks aligned with system architecture and project objectives
Set up and manage CI/CD test pipelines to ensure smooth test automation integration
Collaborate closely with Manual Testers, Product Owners, and Developers to define automation scope and ensure effective testing coverage
Analyze test outcomes, report defects and risks, and share findings with stakeholders in a clear and actionable form
Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to automation tools and testing processes
Participate in all Scrum events, QA communities, and onboarding of new team members, acting as a guardian of QA processes and standards
Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Test Automation
Strong understanding of API test automation (Postman, Curl, or similar)
Working knowledge of Java and basic SQL/database skills
Familiarity with Agile testing practices and ISTQB concepts
Proven analytical and reporting skills with experience in end-to-end testing
Fluency in English and Polish (written and spoken)
Availability to work 2–3 days per week from the Warsaw office
