Front-end Technical Lead (React)

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Tech Lead to lead a small development team working on a standard web application. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical direction and day-to-day guidance of the team, with a primary focus on a React-based user interface. You will ensure high code quality, support best development practices, and actively contribute to the implementation of scalable and maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of excellence in software development practices

• Lead the design and architecture of software systems, including making decisions on technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns to meet project requirements and scalability needs

• Lead development projects for specific features or modules, collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and implement code, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software

• Contribute to the system architecture, participating in architectural discussions, and ensuring that the architecture aligns with the overall design and scalability goals

• Perform code analysis, review and optimize code, ensure adherence to coding standards, and collaborating with the development team to identify and address code quality issues

Min requirements:

• Experience in front-end and full-stack development, solution architecture, and technical leadership roles.

• Proven experience leading small development teams and contributing hands-on to the delivery of web and mobile applications.

• Strong technical background with practical experience in React.js, React Native, GraphQL, and cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.

• Solid understanding of modern web and mobile application architectures, including API design, state management, and scalable front-end solutions.

• Experience in technical decision-making, code reviews, and mentoring team members to ensure high code quality and best engineering practices.

• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with developers and stakeholders.

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
