The Chassis Systems Team is looking for a Brakes Software Integration Engineer. The brake system is safety critical, essential for stable longitudinal and lateral controls, and provides highly available braking functions for autonomy. You will work cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, systems, and software teams to drive vehicle level and brake system software requirements. You will work with internal stakeholders like Self-Driving, Drive Motors, Low-Voltage teams, and external suppliers to implement these requirements and roll features into production. You will also interact with Homologation, Manufacturing, and Service engineering teams across continents in North America, Europe, and Asia.
As a Brakes Software Integration Engineer, you will wear multiple hats; from writing requirements, prototyping software in-vehicle, managing supplier firmware releases, and developing test approaches for production. You will be challenged to bridge the gap between traditional supplier software development processes and a high velocity iterative vehicle software life cycle. Come join a team of driven, hard-working, and talented engineers, to make these systems a reality.
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$120,000 - $252,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
