IT Asset Management Administrator, IT Operations

Tesla is currently seeking a highly motivated IT Asset Management Administrator to join our team onsite at Gigafactory Texas. The IT Asset Management Administrator will provide essential behind-the-scenes support to contribute to the success of the IT Operations team, with a mission to optimize the utilization of Tesla's IT assets. This role will work closely with fellow team members and various other IT staff to ensure proper management of the asset lifecycle at Tesla. The Administrator must have a strong understanding of asset management disciplines and experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Monitor asset data integrity and accuracy within the IT Asset Management database
- Assist with inbound and outbound IT equipment flow activities and procure IT hardware
- Analyze and process data to ensure proper stock levels are maintained
- Manage, maintain, and audit IT hardware inventory levels across multiple stockrooms
- Assist with the logistics of IT hardware across several locations
- Document and refine asset lifecycle processes
- Partner with other teams to ensure compliance with asset management best practices and policies
- Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently under pressure, prioritize tasks, excellent customer service and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with IT Ticketing and Asset Management applications like ServiceNow ITSM, BMC Remedy ITSM, or other similar products preferred
- General knowledge of various types of IT hardware
- Prior Asset Management experience is required
- Strong ability to analyze data with in-depth knowledge of the IT asset lifecycle
- Requires 2-4 years of experience in an IT Operations role
