Description

Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native data models and backend solutions to support analytics and complex business processes. Build and maintain ETL pipelines integrating SAP and non-SAP sources (including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA), ensuring high data quality and strong performance for large datasets. Work with cross-functional teams in Agile (SAFe) to deliver scalable data flows and actionable KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, SQLScript)
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from SAP and non-SAP systems
• Collaborate on scalable data architectures for analytics and operational reporting
• Develop end-to-end data workflows; monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies
• Support business processes with custom analytics, KPI tracking, and insights powered by SAP HANA
• Optimize performance for large datasets using SAP HANA in-memory capabilities
• Participate in cross-team projects to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Work in Agile (SAFe) sprints: planning, retrospectives, and incremental delivery
• Document and maintain technical best practices for SAP HANA solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development (or equivalent SAP roles)
• Proven expertise in SAP HANA native modeling (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, SQLScript)
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines, including SAP/HANA environments
• Familiarity with integration of SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other legacy systems into data workflows
• Expertise in data performance optimization, database tuning, and scalability
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• English proficiency (written and spoken, B2+)
