Description

Design and optimize SAP HANA native models and backend data solutions to support complex business processes and analytics. Build and maintain ETL pipelines integrating SAP (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) and non-SAP sources to deliver scalable data flows, high-quality data, and actionable KPIs. Work in an Agile (SAFe) environment and document best practices for SAP HANA solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, SQLScript)
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from SAP and third-party sources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable data architectures for analytics and operational reporting
• Develop end-to-end data workflows with monitoring, troubleshooting, and data quality controls
• Support business processes with custom analytics, KPI tracking, and insights powered by SAP HANA
• Optimize data processing performance for large datasets using SAP HANA in-memory capabilities
• Participate in Agile (SAFe) sprints, planning, and retrospectives while delivering incremental value
• Document and maintain technical best practices and share knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of SAP HANA development experience (or equivalent SAP roles)
• Hands-on expertise in SAP HANA native modeling (Calculation Views, CDS Views, procedures, SQLScript)
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines in SAP/HANA contexts
• Familiarity with integrating SAP systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other legacy systems
• Expertise in data performance optimization, database tuning, and scalability for large-scale datasets
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies; experience with Jira and Confluence
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• English proficiency (B2+ level)

Nice to have

• Background in manufacturing/engineering (e.g., quality assurance, supply chain analytics)
• Experience with SAP Datasphere or SAP Data Intelligence
