Description

You will design and optimize SAP HANA native data models and backend logic to support analytics and operational reporting. You’ll build ETL/data pipelines integrating SAP (ECC, S/4HANA) and non-SAP sources, ensuring high data quality and performance. The role works in cross-functional teams using Agile (SAFe) practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models such as Calculation Views and CDS Views, plus Stored Procedures and SQLScript
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from SAP and non-SAP systems (including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA)
• Collaborate to create scalable data flows and data architectures for analytics and operational reporting
• Develop end-to-end data workflows, with monitoring and troubleshooting to identify and resolve data discrepancies
• Enhance business processes with custom analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights
• Optimize data processing performance for large datasets using SAP HANA in-memory database capabilities
• Work with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Participate in Agile (SAFe) sprints, planning, and retrospectives, delivering incremental value
• Document and maintain technical best practices for key SAP HANA solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development
• Proven hands-on expertise in SAP HANA native modeling (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures) and SQLScript
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines in SAP/HANA environments
• Familiarity integrating SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other legacy systems into data workflows
• Expertise in data performance optimization, database tuning, and scalability for large datasets
• Agile methodology proficiency; experience with Jira and Confluence
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• English proficiency (B2+)
