Description

You will own agent memory retention policies, TTL configuration, and GDPR compliance within a production-grade, cloud-native enterprise platform for developing and operating AI agents at scale. You will define memory lifecycle behavior, configure AWS AgentCore Memory settings, classify memory data by sensitivity and retention needs, and ensure required deletion/erasure handling and auditability. You will monitor and audit memory retention practices and help embed compliance/governance standards into agent development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain agent memory retention policies (TTL configuration, episodic memory expiration, summary memory lifecycle)

• Ensure GDPR compliance for agent memory systems (deletion handlers, right to erasure processes, audit trail maintenance)

• Configure AWS AgentCore Memory settings (TTL parameters, namespace policies, access controls)

• Classify memory data by sensitivity, encryption requirements, and retention periods

• Manage memory cleanup (automated expiration and manual purge procedures)

• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed compliance and governance into agent development workflows

• Monitor and audit memory retention practices to ensure regulatory alignment

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in platform or compliance engineering

• Hands-on experience with agent memory systems in a production agentic AI project (implementing retention/TTL policies, memory lifecycle management, or GDPR-style governance)

• Expertise in data retention policy implementation, GDPR/privacy compliance for user data, and TTL/lifecycle management for cloud storage

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
