Description

You will own key technology decisions and the end-to-end application architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders, supervise implementation, and set strict engineering and code quality standards for development teams. The project emphasizes modern software engineering paradigms, including AI-SDLC and event-driven architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve advanced application architecture on GCP

• Lead key technology decisions and provide strategic collaboration with stakeholders

• Supervise implementation and define code quality standards and engineering guidelines

• Implement AI-enabled software development lifecycle practices (AI-SDLC), including Spec-Driven Development and Coding Agents

• Build and integrate service-based backend components (web services) and PostgreSQL-backed data

• Design data processing flows using GCP services, BigQuery, and Data Agent Kit (MCP) with AI agents

• Implement event-driven communication using Managed Kafka for data exchange with connected systems and test vehicle environments

Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial software development experience

• 2+ years of documented experience as an Architect (technical solution design and implementation oversight)

• Expert practical knowledge of GCP

• Advanced TypeScript for backend web services

• Practical experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL

• Experience with event-driven architecture and strong skills with Managed Kafka

• Knowledge of modern AI development practices: AI-SDLC, Coding Agents, Spec-Driven Development

• Experience with analytics/data stores and pipelines: BigQuery, Cloud Storage; ability to design workflows with AI agents

• Fluent English for direct business and technical communication with the client
