Description

Lead and architect the creation of a scalable global e-invoicing platform, shaping product strategy, technical architecture, and delivery. Work across Finance, Tax, and Enterprise Technology to build a compliant, integrated solution supporting international e-invoicing, digital reporting, and Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC).

The role combines product ownership and solution architecture, with responsibilities tailored to your experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of a global e-invoicing platform aligned to business priorities and regulatory change.
• Define and maintain product roadmaps, technical architectures, solution blueprints, and integration strategies.
• Support the establishment of a Global E-Invoicing Centre of Expertise (COE), including governance and standardised ways of working.
• Enable Agile delivery through product backlog management, requirements definition, user stories, acceptance criteria, and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Design and oversee integrations between e-invoicing platforms, ERP systems, and external service providers (including SAP ECC/S/4HANA).
• Ensure end-to-end support for finance processes: Order to Cash (O2C), Invoice to Pay (I2P), and Record to Report (R2R).
• Translate tax compliance and digital reporting requirements into scalable product capabilities and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Legal, Security, and IT.
• Support country rollouts, technical design decisions, vendor management, solution governance, and continuous improvement.
• Drive standardisation, automation, operational efficiency, and adoption across the global e-invoicing landscape.

Requirements

• Strong experience in e-invoicing, digital tax compliance, electronic document exchange, or EDI in an enterprise environment.
• Proven experience in product ownership/product management and/or solution architecture/technical leadership.
• Good understanding of end-to-end finance processes, particularly O2C, I2P/procure-to-pay, and R2R.
• Experience integrating with ERP platforms, ideally SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of international e-invoicing regulations and digital reporting, including Peppol and/or CTC.
• Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional enterprise technology environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge business, regulatory, and technical requirements.
