Description

Design and develop Python-based AI services mainly on Google Cloud and on-prem. Build LLM solutions (LLM integrations, RAG, document processing, internal automation), evaluate quality after deployment (test sets, evaluations, monitoring of costs and latency), and run PoCs with teams or external partners using clear “works/doesn’t work” criteria.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI services in Python on Google Cloud and on-prem
• Develop LLM-based solutions: vendor API integrations, RAG, document processing, internal process automation
• Measure solution quality using test sets and evaluations; monitor costs and latency post-deployment
• Align with business teams on where AI creates real value vs. adds cost and risk
• Analyze and compare AI tools, including licensing terms and how providers use transmitted data
• Lead PoCs with internal teams or external companies with clear success/failure criteria
• Write and maintain testable, documented code; perform code reviews and ensure team standards
• Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Technology during deployments
• Organize internal trainings and workshops for end users

Requirements

• Very strong Python skills and at least 4 years of work on systems maintained longer than one quarter
• Practical experience with at least one public cloud: GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Built and shipped an LLM-based solution to production with real users (including quality measurement, costs, and issues encountered)
• Understand where language models fail and design systems that anticipate these shortcomings
• Ability to explain code decisions and to read code you didn’t write
• Familiarity with best practices: automated tests, CI/CD, version control, and code reviews
• Awareness of limitations from GDPR (RODO) and information security rules when processing data with external services
• Ability to clearly and accessibly explain technical topics to non-technical people during meetings and trainings
• Ability to independently take a topic from business discussion through implementation
• Very good English proficiency
