Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backends of production applications handling high traffic
• Design database schemas and optimize queries in MySQL
• Build and evolve integrations using REST APIs
• Lead changes end-to-end from analysis through deployment to production
• Help decide on system architecture and technical solutions
• Monitor and improve application performance under real load
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial PHP programming experience
• Solid OOP fundamentals regardless of framework
• Strong SQL and MySQL knowledge, including schema design and query optimization
• Practical experience creating and integrating REST APIs
• Proficiency with Git
• Experience maintaining and developing production applications serving real traffic
• Ability to work in a product team
