Description

You will join a product team modernizing an existing PHP platform and migrating it to Laravel. The role focuses on automating UI, API, integration, and regression tests, integrating testing into CI/CD, and evaluating risks and release readiness. You will support the test strategy and QA quality standards across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated UI, API, integration, and regression tests (and manual tests when needed)

• Integrate tests into CI/CD processes and support product release risk/readiness assessments

• Analyze defects, monitor quality metrics, and improve the test strategy

• Collaborate with backend teams (PHP/Laravel), frontend teams (React), SRE, and Product

• Contribute to test automation standards and QA best practices

• Mentor junior team members and share QA knowledge

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in QA Automation

• Hands-on experience with Cypress or Selenium

• Knowledge of PHP and JavaScript or TypeScript

• Experience with UI, API, integration, and regression testing

• Knowledge of REST API, API-first approach, and service-based architectures

• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools

• Knowledge of Xray

• Practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum

• Risk-based testing skills: test strategy creation, defect analysis, and quality metric monitoring

• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work with stakeholders

• English level at least B2
