Description

You will design embedded firmware and control software for prototype hardware platforms and work with a multidisciplinary engineering team. You’ll experiment with sensor interfaces, implement firmware for display systems and cameras, and create Python tools/scripts to test embedded systems. You will also collaborate with technology teams to define prototyping scope and product development.

Responsibilities

• Design the firmware system and embedded software for prototyped hardware and development boards

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Experiment with and implement interfaces for different sensors and sensor modules

• Write firmware code controlling innovative display systems and cameras

• Create Python programs and scripts to test embedded systems

• Work closely with technology teams to define prototyping scope and product development

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing embedded firmware and board-level device drivers

• Technical higher education (electronics, computer science, or related)

• Practical experience with board bring-up and system debugging

• Experience with ARM processors and microcontrollers and communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI, I2S)

• Knowledge of diagnostic tools such as bus analyzers and oscilloscopes

• Practical experience designing, specifying, and implementing communication protocols

• Ability to debug and solve problems in complex environments and code

• Experience validating SoC systems with dedicated ASIC components

• Python programming experience for automating build and testing of embedded software

• English at least B2
